The Nomadic Offshore Wind project will utilise innovative floating offshore wind technologies to produce zero-carbon electricity. The development aims to help Scotland, and the UK more widely, to progress towards a net-zero future.
The project will help to reduce Scotland’s dependence on foreign fossil fuel imports, where a large portion of our current electricity production comes from.
Offshore wind energy is a clean, sustainable, and renewable energy source which will help Scotland reach its targets on greenhouse gas emissions and aid in the fight against climate change.
We are dedicated to developing sustainable and transformative marine projects working with the oceans and enabling communities to benefit from blue growth. Nomadic Offshore Wind will provide an opportunity for the local supply chain to gear up for commercial-scale offshore opportunities that Scotland can offer
